The Hong Kong Jewelry Manufacturers’ Association (HKJMA) is once again out to choose this year’s young and glamorous jewellery ambassadors among finalists of the 2017 Miss Jewelry Hong Kong.

Ten finalists made their debut appearance at a November 2 press conference where they showcased bespoke jewellery pieces by local designers.

Organised by HKJMA, the Miss Jewelry Hong Kong pageant is a bi-annual event launched in 2010. Its aim is to discover ambassadors who possess charisma, glamour and knowledge about jewellery to promote local innovative jewellery designs to the world, as well as enhance the role of Hong Kong’s jewellery industry in the global market.

This year’s theme, “Dream with Hope,” means to provide direction and meaning to life. The candidates are from Hong Kong, Qinghai, Taiwan, Malaysia and Canada.

The competition will be held at the Hong Kong Exhibition & Convention Centre on December 1. Winners will grace various jewellery exhibitions and events as HKJMA jewellery ambassadors. The champion will be awarded with cash prize, jewellery and a study tour to Tahiti.
